Photosyntheis is the process of making food in the plant so it could release oxygen. How to make: I first make the clay soft and shape it into a leaf shape. I take out brown clay and make the stem. I use brown paper to make the dirt and then I use brown yarn to represent the root
Prokaryotic cell
How we made the Prokaryotic cell. First we massage the clay to make it soft, and roll the clay to make it flat. Then we get a small plastic water bottle, take the lid out, then we put our clay on the water bottle. We cut small ribbons to make the Fimbriae. We cut a long ribbon for the Flagellum, we start sticking the fimbriae on the clay. Take another small ribbon and tie it or make it like a ball as the Nucleoid regoin. Use small glitter to represent it as the DNA.
Parts of cells
-DNA -Organelle -Cell membrane -Cytoplasm DNA- DNA is genetic material that provides instruction for all cell processes. Organelles- An organelle is a small body in a cell's cytoplasm that is specialized to perform a specific function. Cytoplasm- The region enclosed by the cell membrane that includes the fluid and all of the organelles of the cell. Cell Membrane- Is a protective layer that covers a cell's surface and acts as a barrier between the inside of a cell and the cell's environment.

Activity 1 DRTA= Directed reading thinking activity: Refreshing prior knowledge and assuming upcoming topics. -What did we learn? Ans. We learned that all living things are made up of cells and cells are the smallest functional living organisms. There are many kinds of cells. -What did we learn? Ans. I think we will learn about different types of cells and how bacteria are made of.
